The marriage is done. After nearly 16 years we both mutually agreed that it was time. We back-dated the time to Apr 3rd when I got underway for the deployment. So on April 3 2010 we will be separated for our 1 year time frame and can move on from there.

That it is amicable is for the best. Nothing good generally comes from these things but then sometimes things happen for a reason. I feel that this is something that we saw coming but were to bullheaded ( on my part mainly ) to change what was happening.

Sucks. Hope no kids to go through the mess.

On the plus side, you can go through a midlife crisis now and buy a vette =D

1 child involved but she is 14 so the damage is somewhat reduced. I am getting a hotel room tomorrow night ( I'm on leave ) and getting to know Sailor Jerry and Captain Morgan's tattoo. I might go through the red door with Johnny Walker as well haven't made that decision yet.

Sorry to hear it, Pally. But in the end, if you're happier than you were, it's for the best.

You can always comfort yourself through inflicting pain on the countless demons that populate d2?

While tattoo is a good rum, I consider it a party drink. Perhaps you should switch to something more depressing like Jim Bean.

Or, play football to take your sadness out on an unsuspecting middle aged man.

I'd love the football thingy but considering I am middle aged and the knees just aren't what they used to be doesn't help. After Tattoo I am gonna try Sailor Jerry. I heard that it is good but EVIL

That rum, however, is good for picking up girls in their 20s....so :pprshark:
